Workout out and eating are two of our very favorite things to do. Thankfully, a new pop-up yoga series is about to bring us the best of both worlds. Rooftop NOMaste, the brainchild of fitness instructor and vegan chef extraordinaire Amandah Povilitus and CorePower Yoga instructor Anne Ledyardis launching on Saturday, May 19.

For their first event, Ledyard will lead a 60-minute yoga class at 10 a.m. on the roof of the apartment building at 1900 Arch Street. Afterwards, participants will chow down on a brunch prepared by Povilitus, including her Superfood Breakfast bars, fresh fruit, mimosas (with added-sugar-free mixers), Belgian waffles, and all kinds of toppings — including Povilitus’ own almond butter drizzle, chia jams, and infused syrups. (If you’re suddenly starving reading this 1) we’re sorry, and 2) SAME.)

While their first event on May 19 will revolve around brunch, the NOMaste team is planning to see how it goes over, then open up the series to other mealtimes, like a rooftop yoga session followed by a sunset plant-based dinner or yoga before an early-morning breakfast. Can we go ahead and put in our vote for all of the above?

Tickets for the Rooftop NOMaste event are $25 through May 17 — after that they go up to $40. If you’re ready to get in on the downward dog and waffle fun, head to Eventbrite.
