Your Monday Plans: Run the Ben Franklin Bridge, Drink $3 Brews

Not bad for a Monday, right?

Fact: Mondays are hard. But they’re a whole lot less miserable when your after-work plans include going for a run with and soaking up breathtaking views of Philly then drinking $3 beers with friends. And that’s exactly what your plans for next Monday, November 21st, will consist of.

Next Monday, Yards Brewing Company is hosting their last monthly bridge run and happy hour for runners of the year. The 4.25-mile group run, free to join in on, will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the corner of 6th and Race Streets, taking runners across the Ben Franklin Bridge (helloooo, Instagram-worthy city views) and back, ending at Yards Brewing Company on Delaware Avenue for $3 beer specials. They’ll also have a raffle for runners going, complete with prizes from spots like City Tap House, Devil’s Den, Philadelphia Runner, Run215, and more. Proceeds from the raffle will go to the Epiphany Golden Age Club, a local social club for seniors.

You can RSVP here. Here’s to a Monday that won’t suck!
