Over the summer, we noticed that Philly native Kevin Hart was killing the fitness game on Instagram: He is a big fan of the gym selfie and often posts videos of himself getting his sweat on and/or acting a fool (because he is a comedian, after all) while surrounded by weights. And his Instagram posts aren’t his only mark on the fitness world: Over, the summer, while on his latest comedy tour, Hart, in collaboration with Nike, was holding pop-up Run With Hart 5Ks in cities all over the country (he stopped in Philly at the end of August). So, if he wasn’t already up there in your mental list of celebrity fitness idols, he’s about to be.

Yesterday, Nike Training posted a behind-the-scenes workout video with Hart to YouTube. It features him doing pull-ups and lateral raises galore and saying things like “Hey, 5:30 a.m., my day starts. What time does yours?” and “No excuses today. Just landed, got off a plane, had two interviews, had to go on set, didn’t want to miss my workout … no excuses, no days off.” See? Fitness goals. And general life goals, honestly. You can check out the two-minute video below. I’m estimating it will provide you with at least one week’s worth of fitness motivation.
