Movie still from Beer Runners

If you are constantly grappling with how you can fill your weekends with both of your favorite things — running and beer, duh — here’s one event that makes it easy: This Sunday, Fishtown’s Johnny Brenda’s[1] is hosting two screening of Beer Runners, the documentary film about Philly’s very own Fishtown Beer Runners and founder David April.

The first screening, at 5, is sold out, but — lucky for you! — there are still tickets available for the second screening at 8 p.m. A ticket will run you 10 bucks and gets you the movie screening and a Kenzinger. Because what is a Beer Runners screening without beer? So, your Sunday plans: Run to Johnny Brenda’s (at the corner of Frankford and Girard avenues), watch Beer Runners, drink beer, and voila! You’ve fit in all of your favorite things.

You can check out the trailer for the film below and you can grab tickets here[2].
