I hope you have your calendar ready and a well-inked pen poised: You’ve got a lot of scheduling to do this month. From a brand-new run through West Philly’s Woodlands Cemetery to free Spin classes to yoga at the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center, we’ve got plenty of fit fun to keep you busy.

1. Philadelphia Marathon and Half Marathon, and Rothman 8K
When: November 21st and 22nd
Where: All races start and end at 22nd Street and the Ben Franklin Parkway.

If you’re running any of the above races, I’m, um, sure you know when they’re happening. But if you’re not running them and plan to spectate, please be sure to mark your calendar. The Rothmans 8K kicks off at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 21st. The other two races are at 7 a.m. on Sunday, November 22nd. Stay tuned to Be Well Philly for our massive spectator’s guide, which we’ll have for you on November 15th.

2.Yoga at the Horticulture Center
When: Sunday, November 15th from 1 to 2:30 pm.
Where: Fairmount Park Horticulture Center, 100 North Horticultural Drive, West Fairmount Park.

Amrita Yoga’s Emile Sorger is teaming up with the Fairmount Park Conservancy to host a yoga class inside the Horticulture Center in West Fairmount Park. Imagine: Catching some Zen while surrounded by tropical plants and gorgeous greenery. The class is free for Conservancy members and $10 for nonmembers.

3. Ciclo Open House with Free Spin Classes
When: Sunday, November 8th at 8:30 and 10 a.m.
Where: 2036 Frankford Avenue, Fishtown.

One-year-old Spinning studio Ciclo is moving to a new location — just a few doors down from their original spot at 2024 Frankford — so to celebrate, they’re hosting a studio open house. It will include two free Spin classes. The 8:30 class is Spin and Sculpt, and the 10 o’clock class is Spin and Bootcamp. Sign up to reserve your spot here.

4. Priya Hot Yoga Anniversary Party with DJ Yoga Class and Beer

Where: 1828 Callowhill Street, Fairmount.

Priya Hot Yoga is celebrating its first birthday with a very special 75-minute yoga class set to live-spun tunes courtesy of DJ Royale. After class, stick around for an in-studio dance party, with beer from Dock Street Brewery, wine and other refreshments. It’s $30 for yoga and the party, or $25 for party only.

5. Stripp’d Juice/Inspired Brews Opening Party
When: Friday, November 6th from 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: 263 North 3rd Street, Old City.

Get this: Two of our favorite local brands are opening up brick-and-mortar shops right next door to each other on the exact same day. To celebrate, they’ll be doubling up on the grand-opening festivities (Bonus: It’s also First Friday!), with juice from Stripp’d and kombucha from Inspired Brews.

6. Woodlands Wobble Gobble 5K
When: Saturday, November 14th at 10 a.m.
Where: The Woodlands, 4000 Woodland Avenue, University City

This first-time 5K run takes place on the grounds of the Woodlands, a cemetery and historic mansion in University City. Your goal is to outrun the West Philly Turkey (then promptly take an Instagram picture with it, of course), all in support of improving runners’ amenities on the Woodlands grounds. The first-place prize is a Thanksgiving turkey, donated by the Mariposa Food Co-op, and soon-to-open drinkery Clarkville will be on hand with post-race beer in the cemetery. It’s $35 to participate.

7. Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest
When: Opens for the season Friday, November 27th.
Where: Penn’s Landing, 101 South Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia.

The Delaware River Waterfront’s outdoor Olympic-size ice skating rink opens for the winter season later this month. This year’s setup will include the highlights from last year — a winter garden and forest made of hundreds of holiday trees and shrubs, rustic furniture, market lights and fire pits, and the heated chalet-style lodge with indoor seating — as well as some new additions, including even more seating, a 360-degree deck around the rink, warming “huts” around some of the firepits, and an expanded food and drink menu. It’s $3 to skate, and an extra $10 for skate rental. Admission to Winterfest is free.

8. Whole Grain Bread Baking Cooking Class
When: Tuesday, November 17th at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Vetri Cucina, 1312 Spruce Street, Midtown Village.

Get a bread brush-up just in time for Thanksgiving festivities. Vetri’s head baker, Claire Kopp McWilliams, will share her expertise on how to make delicious homemade bread using whole grains and natural leaveners. Each participant will make their own loaf to take home, and the class will include snacks and prosecco to start, followed by a meal with house wines. It’s $150 per person (gratuity is included).

9. Bootylicious Beyoncé Twerkshop at Philly Dance Fitness
When: Saturday, November 14th from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Where: 1170 South Broad Street, South Philly.

The 90-minute cardio-pop/hip-hop Twerkshop will be taught entirely to Beyoncé music with a bit of Destiny’s Child thrown in the mix. There will be body rolls, there will be booty-popping and you will feel like Queen Bey, if only for a little over an hour. You don’t need any dance experience to join in on the workshop, and anyone over the age of 13 is welcome. It’s $20 until November 6th and $25 after.

10. The Lemon Run
When: Sunday, November 8th at 8 a.m.
Where: Memorial Hall, 4231 Avenue of the Republic, West Fairmount Park.

This 5K raises funds for Alex’s Lemonade Stand, a national organization with local roots dedicated to fighting childhood cancer. The run begins and ends at Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park, with the course covering 3.1 miles in West Fairmount Park. Registration is $35.
