Getting yourself off the couch let alone outside — far, far away from an air conditioner — to work out when temperatures outside are pushing 100 degrees can be tough. So to help you out, here, our top 10 picks for this month’s worth-getting-off-your-couch-for fitness events. Take your pick and mark your calendars, friends!

1. Full Moon Yoga at Race Street Pier
When: Thursday, July 2nd at 8:30 p.m.
Where: Race Street Pier, Columbus Boulevard.

There was a ton of a hype surrounding last month’s Full Moon Yoga on the pier — the first one of the year — and then it was rained out. Womp, womp. But no worries, friends! Full moons will be rolling around three more times this summer, the first being Thursday, July 2nd. So go get your downward dog on underneath the full moon with a pier full of your fellow yogis. The event is free, but donations are accepted.

2. Run the Vineyards Rock the Night Away 5K
When: Tuesday, July 21st at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Sharrott Winery, 370 South Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton.

Running. Wine. Live Music. What more could you ask for? First, you’ll run a 5K through the Sharrot Winery vineyards and, when you pull in to the finish, you’ll be greeted with a glass of wine (and a wine glass you get to take home) along with a post-race concert. Registration will run you $40.

3. Be Well Philly’s Summer Yoga Flow
When: Every Tuesday at 6 p.m. from July 7th through August 25th
Where: Comcast Center Outdoor Plaza, 1701 JFK Boulevard, Center City.

We are so, so, so excited to bring you guys our very first summer yoga series, Be Well Philly’s Summer Yoga Flow. Every Tuesday from July 7th through August 25th, we’ll be teaming up with instructors from DIG Yoga to give you all an awesome hour of free yoga at the Comcast Center Outdoor Plaza. The classes are open to anyone and everyone, and we’re pretty sure it’ll be the best hour of your week every week. Oh! And did we mention the free juice? There will be lots of it.

4. Philadelphia Dance Day
When: Saturday, July 25th
Where: Studios all over the city; check out the schedule here.

This day-long dance celebration, which happens at studios all around the city, features free workshops in everything from modern dance, to striptease to hip-hop that are open to everyone, plus performances by dancing pros which you can catch once you’ve tuckered yourself out. The day ends with a giant Zumba party followed by an evening of dancing at the Ethical Society Building in Rittenhouse. Yeah, it’s just as great a day as it sounds.

5. Back on My Feet In24 Philadelphia
When: Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July, 19th
Where: Race headquarters are Lloyd Hall at 1 Boathouse Row, Art Museum Area.

The Back on My Feet In24 Philadelphia lineup has a little something for everyone: a 24-hour ultra for the hardcore runners among us, a glow-in-the-dark midnight race for the night owls, a relay team challenge for the group-run fans and a 5K for the newbies. So take your pick!

6. Wine and WOD Ladies’ Night
When: Sunday, July 26 at 4 p.m.
Where: Breaking Point Fitness/CrossFit Ridge Ave, 3791 Main Street, Manayunk.

This ladies’ only CrossFit event is designed to get women who’ve never tried CrossFit in the gym for the first time and convince them it isn’t the worst — really! The afternoon will kick off with a butt-kicking bodyweight workout, and after you get your sweat on, you’ll rehydrate with wine and some of the Fountain of Juice’s concoctions. A ticket will cost you $15.

7. Giant Fundraiser Ride at Body Cycle Studio
When: July 11th at 9:30 a.m.
Where: Body Cycle Studio, 1923 Chestnut Street, Rittenhouse.

Body Cycle Studio is teaming up with SELF Magazine to bring you guys a giant fundraiser ride with 50 percent of the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. The 45-minute ride will be taught by instructor Russell and following the ride, attendees will chow down on snacks from Pure Fare and walk away with some sweet swag-filled goodie bags. It’s $30 to join in.

8. Down & Dirty Obstacle Race
When: Sunday, July 26th
Where: Warminster Park, Hatboro Road and West Bristol Road, Warminster.

Prepare to get dirtier than you’ve ever been in this three- or six-mile course which features mud pits, cargo climbs, water crossings and more. Right now, registration will cost you $85 for the three-mile course or $95 for the six-mile course, then the price jumps up on July 7th.

9. Yoga at Laurel Hill Cemetery
When: Saturday, July 11th at 10 a.m. and Saturday, July 22nd at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Laurel Hill Cemetery, Fairmount Park.

Get your downward dog in this hourlong, all-levels yoga class led by Emily Golomb of Fairmount’s Studio 1831, then take a stroll through the cemetery and marvel at the larger-than-life gravestones. The class will cost you $20.

10. Pop-Up Training Run for the Philly 10K
When: Monday, July 13th at 6 p.m.
Where: Meet at Philadelphia Runner, 1601 Sansom Street, Rittenhouse.

Raise your hand if you’re running the Philly 10K? You’re not going to want to miss this pop-up training run, hosted by us along with our friends at Philadelphia Runner, the Philly 10K and New Balance. We’ll meet at the Philadelphia Runner Center City store and head from there on foot to Independence Beer Garden where we’ll have drink specials waiting for us. The run is free to join in and anyone and everyone, Philly 10K runners or not, is welcome to join in on the fun.
