Looking for a way to entertain your little ones and get them out in the sunshine this weekend? Well, good news! The Play Cafe is partnering up with Bryn Mawr Running company to bring you the Superhero Kids Fun Run this Sunday, June 14th. And it sounds like the cutest thing ever.

Kids ages four through 10 can come out and partake in a super fun 1/8-mile race (for four to six year olds) or a 1/4-mile race (for seven to ten year olds). Races are kept short and sweet so that kids are able to run the entire thing and experience the thrill of finishing a race. All runners will receive a t-shirt and a ribbon for completing the race and the fastest runners from each age group will win prizes. Following the races, there will be a family fun festival with face painting, games, food, and mini post-race parties. Doesn’t this sound like every kid’s dream afternoon, right?

The event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Haverford School located at 450 Lancaster Avenue in Haverford. And registration is still open! Tickets cost $30 for kids ages four through six, and $25 for kids ages seven through ten (plus a $2.50 registration fee for each age group). All proceeds will benefit the Bryn Mawr Hospital Pediatrics. Happy running, little ones!
