Where to Get a Skinny Margarita in Philly

Because it’s Cinco de Mayo, people!

It’s Cinco de Mayo, people! And I don’t know about you, but I will take just about any excuse to eat bottomless guacamole and drink margaritas on a Tuesday. If you feel the same, but don’t want to down a 600-calorie cocktail — because yes, a single margarita can have over 600 calories —below, five Philly restaurants where you can grab a lightened-up version of the classic Mexican drink.

And a note from a former margarita-slinger herself: If you can’t make it to any of these spots today (or just don’t want to deal with the crowds that are bound to be spilling out the doors), most Mexican restaurants can throw together a skinny margarita any day of the year, even if it isn’t on the menu. Just ask the bartender to go light on the agave (ask for about half of what they usually use) and to leave out the triple sec, and there you have it: a skinny margarita.
