Registration Just Opened for ODDysey Half Marathon’s Sweet New Race Challenge

Yesterday, we told you guys the Generation Run 5K is coming up June 13th (with free root beer floats for runners at the finish line!), and today we have news that they’ve teamed up with the ODDysey Half Marathon, happening June 14th, to introduce a seriously cool new challenge — and registration just opened!

Here’s the deal: This year, the two races, which both benefit Students Run Philly Style, have teamed up to create the Go Farther Challenge. What’s that, you ask? Well, 250 runners have the opportunity to sign up for the challenge, which includes registration to run both races. And at the end of the ODDysey Half Marathon, runners will get a sweet extra medal that fits into their ODDysey Half Marathon medal like a puzzle piece, showing they dominated two races in one weekend and completed the Go Farther Challenge. Like a boss. How cool is that? 

The Generation Run 5K starts at 10 a.m. on June 13th, and the ODDysey Half Marathon kicks off at 7 a.m. on June 14th. Registration for the Go Farther Challenge will run you $119.

There are only 250 spots for the Go Farther Challenge, so if you want that sweet medal, you’d better hop to it and get registered, like, now. And if you already signed up to run the ODDysey Half Marathon, but you want to complete the Go Farther Challenge, no worries: Just use put in “ODDRunner” in the coupon code space during checkout, and you’ll only be charged for the Generation Run.
