Y’all have been pretty darn excited for this summer’s Run the Vineyards 3.2.1 Challenge since we posted about it late last month. Jon Lyons, founder of the Facebook group Run215, was among those who were tickled with excitement for the running/yoga/obstacle course/wine-tasting event — so tickled, in fact, that he’s been busy hammering out details for a pretty sweet transportation option to get you to the starting line at Blair Vineyards in Kutztown..

Today, I give you: the Run215 Racebus, Wine & Cheese Edition.

Here’s how it will work: Runners participating in the 3.2.1 Challenge on Sunday, July 12th, can sign up for group transportation with the Run215 crew. The bus will include cheese from DiBruno Bros; wine, beer and coffee; pretzels from Philadelphia Soft Pretzel Co.; a Run215 wristband; and more TBA swag. When you get back to Philly after the race, you’ll also be invited to an after party at a to-be-announced bar.

The bus is one of those luxury coaches (Ooh la la!) with ample storage and bathrooms. The exact pick-up and drop-off location is yet to be determined, but it will most likely be between Christian and Catherine on Broad Street. Bus participants will be emailed an exact pick-up spot closer to the event.

The bus will leave Philly at 6:30 a.m. to make it in time for the race’s 9 a.m. start time. It costs $25 for the transportation, but entry to the race is separate. The bus is limited to 100 occupants, and Lyons says he expects it to sell out fast.

Bus registration will open today at 5 p.m. on Eventbrite. Once you register for the bus, head over here to sign up for the race. During registration, enter the team name RUN215.

The bus is only available for the Sunday, July 12th race date. More details on the Run the Vineyards 3.2.1 Challenge are here.
