Your weekend in fitness events. Not a bad deal, eh?

1. Bryn Mawr Running Company’s Resolution Run
When: Saturday, January 10th at 8 a.m.
Where: 828 West Lancaster Avenue, Bryn Mawr.

Kick off a great year of running with this choose-your-own-adventure-style race. Runners will have three distances to choose from: a one-mile, three-mile or five-mile course. After the run, you’ll head back to the shop, where runners will get a $10 gift card to use at BMRC, light breakfast, goodie bags, door prizes and 25 percent off all purchases made that morning. It’s $10 to participate.

2. Fit Hike in the Wissahickon
When: Sunday, January 11th at 9 a.m.
Where: Meet at Valley Green Inn.

Suit up and head out for a guided four-mile hike through the Wissahickon. The goal is to get your legs moving and heart pumping, as you’ll be hiking at a moderate to fast pace. Guides Erin Bendig and May Dominic will lead. Free.

3. Booty Boot Camp at the Comcast Center
When: Saturday, January 10th at 9 a.m.

Every Saturday through March 28th, trainers from the Comcast Fitness Center will lead weekly cross-training sessions featuring intervals of aerobic exercises and resistance training designed to get you sweating. It’s $10 to participate, but you’ll receive a $10 voucher for food and drinks at the Market & Shops post-workout. So … it’s basically free.
