Love SUP Yoga? Try Indoor Balance Board Yoga This Week at Bee Inspired

So here’s the thing about SUP yoga: It’s a super fun, challenging workout, but if you live here in the Philly area—or anywhere with cold winters, for that matter—it’s an activity you can only do for a few happy, sunshine-filled months in the summer. Which, of course, is a total bummer.

Bee Inspired Yoga in Woodstown, New Jersey, is taking the practice indoors this week with two classes aimed at mimicking on-the-water SUP classes. They’re done on wood balance-board decks called Indo Boards that offer the same stability challenges as stand-up paddleboards: namely, they wobble. That means everything from your downdog to your headstand will have an added measure of difficulty as you use your core to brace your body.

The classes are happening this Wednesday at 4:30 and 6:15 p.m., both 90-minutes long. Previous SUP or Indo Board experience is not required. The classes cost $30. Sign up here. (Click the Enrollments tab.)
