To Do: Yoga for Runners at Nava Yoga Center
If there’s one thing I learned from my 30-day yoga challenge, it’s that yoga is an excellent complement to regular running regimen—especially for those of us who, um, usually skip the post-run stretch. (Guilty.)
So if you’re a runner and could really use some guidance on how to get the kinks out, check out Nava Yoga Center’s upcoming Runner’s Yoga series, a six-week workshop that starts February 25th. Instructor Biz Magarity will focus on poses that realign runners’ bodies and help increase range of motion, agility, flexibility, endurance and strength. I’m thinking this series will be especially useful for the Broad Streeters in our midst.
It’s $78 for the series, and pre-registration is required. More info and sign up are here. (Click the Workshops tab.)
$78 for six classes, Tuesdays, February 25th through April 1st, Nava Yoga Center, 1200 Constitution Ave. Building 489 Suite 220, Philadelphia Navy Yard.
