To Do: Urban Scramble Scavenger Hunt Race with Philadelphia Runner

Do you like to run? Are you into prizes? If you answered yes to both, this adult scavenger hunt might be the perfect fit.

A workout that ends with prizes and beer? Sign me up! On September 26th, Philadelphia Runner is hosting another installment of its popular Urban Scramble, which is essentially an adult scavenger hunt around the city.  So, If you’re the type of person who needs an incentive to work out, the 12-plus prizes—including a free pair of running shoes!—up for grabs should do the trick.

Here’s how it works: Participants gather at Philadelphia Runner’s Center City location at 6 p.m. There, they will find out which dozen or so local businesses, all within 1.5 miles of Philadelphia Runner, they need to run (or walk) to for raffle tickets. Participants have one hour to pick up as many raffle tickets as they can and make it to the final destination (a local bar), where the raffling off of prizes will commence! It’s like being in elementary school all over again … plus beer!

The event is free to sign-up, just make sure to register. And, due to the post-hunt bar gathering, participants must be over 21.

FREE, September 26th at 6 p.m., Philadelphia Runner, 1601 Sansom Street, Philadelphia.
