Pure Fare Owner to Debut New Mediterranean Spot in Center City

I know more than a few Pure Fare fans (*ahem, Ali Shapiro, ahem*) who’ll be psyched to hear that PF owner Kriti Sehgal is set to open a new healthy cafe at 2104 Chestnut Street.

The former El Fuego on Chestnut Street is getting a new tenant. Agno Grill is promising to bring “a new kind of Mediterranean” this spring. We confirmed that Pure Fare’s Kriti Sehgal is behind the project and she promises us details next week. Until then, we’ll just have to imagine what’s new and Mediterranean.

Agno’s website is now up and running, but they haven’t posted the menu just yet so you’ll have to hold off on your salivating. You can, however, sign up for email updates to stay on top of the opening news. As of now, the only opening-date-timeframe indicator we have is vague: spring 2013.
