Lady Gaga’s Pimped Out Wheelchair Has 24-Karat Rims (and It’s Awesome)

You may have read that Lady Gaga underwent hip surgery last month after suffering a labral tear of her in her right hip. The injury prompted her to cancel the remaining stops on her Born This Way Ball world tour. So what has she been doing since? Recovering, of course—in amazing, over-the-top Gaga style.

Yesterday, the New York Post got its hands on some awesome money shots, courtesy of famous fashion/portrait photog Terry Richardson, showing Gaga in an über-pimped-out wheelchair: a tufted black-leather chair studded with 24-karat hardware designed by Mordekai‘s Ken Borochov. He had just one week to turn around the completed masterpiece. Talk about tight deadlines.
