LABOR PLAY

In addition to the usual phone-banking and leafleting, Philly union boss John Dougherty is hoping to bring a little silver-screen magic to labor's pre-election outreach. The likely '07 mayoral candidate is looking to send copies of Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 to the 4,000 members of his electricians local — and is reaching out to other labor organizations to encourage them to do the same. Doc may also screen the film to cap off this year's Labor Day festivities.
