A Luxe New Boxing Gym Is Coming to Center City Philadelphia

Philadelphia has long been known as a boxing city — we literally have a trail named The Boxers’ Trail and we don’t really need to remind you about Rocky, do we? — but in the coming months it’s about to get a little *extra* boxing-friendly. That’s right, we’re about to see a boutique boxing gym boom right here in Philly.

We already told you about Rumble Boxing, the chic boxing gym that’s a favorite of celebs and New York models alike and supposed to open here this fall. Then there’s Title Boxing Club, coming soon to 2101 Market Street. Finally, there’s EverybodyFights, a Boston-based chain of luxury boxing gyms that’s headed to Market Street this winter.

With a goal opening date of January 1, 2019, EverybodyFights will offer five different boxing class styles, each of which is inspired by real fight training. Those five styles include heavy-bag classes, circuit training classes, treadmill classes, technique classes, and recovery classes.

While most boutique gyms are have one studio space, two at the most, this gym will fill their relatively large 12,000-square-foot space with two full-size boxing rings and four classrooms, including dedicated hanging bag, circuit, and treadmill studios. Outside of the studio space will be a 3,000-square-foot open gym with cardio equipment and free weights, which means that this gym will have so much more to offer than just fitness classes.

And speaking of more to offer, you’d better believe the amenities will be luxury as well — including locker rooms with steam rooms and towel service, a lounge area, plus a pro shop, juice bar, and coffee shop. I don’t know about you, but EverybodyFights kind of sounds like the perfect place to start your morning, right?

Given that the facilities will have the ability to function like a full-service gym, EverybodyFights offers monthly unlimited memberships in addition to class packages and drop-in rates. The gym is currently offering a discounted membership rate here, but outside of the current promotions, the regular unlimited membership will run you $155 a month.
