John & Jamie

How They Met: John and I met at a Dropkick Murphys concert at Pennslanding in 2007. We dated briefly into mid 2008, then life took us each in another direction. On New Years Eve 2009 we both ended up at the same party in Boston for the Flyers Bruins 2010 Winter Classic and after a magical NYE smooch we've been together ever since.

The Proposal: In March 2012 we went to Boston for St Patrick's Day weekend and the Flyers just happened to be playing the Bruins that same weekend. While we were in Boston John and I went to dinner at the Top of the Hub, after dinner on the walk back to our hotel we took a detour into a park when John handed me the Adventure Book from the Disney movie UP, inside were hand drawn pictures of our entire relationship leading up to the trip to Boston and when I turned to that final page John got down on one knee and purposed.
