How They Met: We met in high school and became best friends. We didn't fall in love until much later, when we realized we just made sense together. We've been a couple since 2007.

The Proposal: Originally his secret plan was to get in a hot air balloon and when going up, the team below was going to roll out a banner that read "Will You Marry Me?" that I would look down and see. The winds, however did not agree with this plan and we couldn't go up. So we headed home. He couldn't wait any longer - and was afraid someone would call or text me (everyone knew but me) so he pulled off River Road next to the Nockamixon Cliffs and walked me over near the river. It was there with shaky hands and tears in his eyes he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.
