Wedding Date: June 15, 2013 in Prallsville Mill, Stockton, NJ

How They Met: We met a conference on 4th of July 2009. Peter said I caught his attention because of my cute nose ring and because the first thing I said to him was "Do you know who won the Phillies game?" Of course, he did :)

The Proposal: We were in the midst of a 10 hour hike up the Grand Canyon. It was about 2am and we were both exhausted. We stopped to rest and fill up our water bottles. I thought he was kneeling down to stretch, but then he started telling me how much he loves me and all these other wonderful things that I barely remember because I realized he was down on one knee! I said yes and he pulled out the ring which he had carried down into the canyon with him! We both cried and kissed and recuperated to finish our hike. We spent our first night as an engaged couple sleeping in the middle of the Bright Angel trail in the Grand Canyon.
