How They Met: Bydeia and I met in the summer of 2003. Although we have many mutual friends and saw each other in passing, we never knew each other or spoke. Then one hot summer night I was sitting on my Nanas Porch reading my book and he decided to ride a bike down the street. Once he got to my house he spoke and once we did the introductions and telephone number exchanges, we have been apart of each others lives ever since.

The Proposal: I previously told Bydeia I had never been to a baseball game and wanted to go. We go to so many basketball games I wanted to try another sport. He told me he came across some Phillies tickets and we were going. I was so excited! When we got to the game he got us food and drinks then we went to our seats. The seats were great and i was enjoying the game. I even had a baseball come straight at my head! i ducked not knowing I should have tried to catch it instead!! At the bottom of the 4th inning the camera man came over to our section! I thought he was just there for crowd participation so i just ignored him! After about a minute or so Bydeia got up to stretch and the there was a massive roar of cheering in the Baseball field! Again I wasn't paying too much attention, I though something happened in the game but i couldn't see because everyone around us was standing! At this point Bydeia got down on one Knee and pulled a yellow box out of his pocket! My heart dropped and all i could say was "you Play too Much"!! While he was proposing there was confetti falling, I looked up and our Mothers appeared out of no where, the Phillies and Benari staff pulled out champange and I was so overwhelmed! I could not believe what was happening to me! i just knew I said YES and he made that the best day of my life!
