How They Met: It was the beginning of our freshman year in college at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. August 30, 2005 to be exact. A group of my friends and myself were walking through campus on our way to our first college party and Paul and his friends were walking the same way on their way to the same party. It was an even number of friends on both sides and we all paired up. Paul and I sparked up conversation and we instantly had chemistry. That was the day we both formed a bond we knew would last the rest of our lives and here we are five and a half years later.

The Proposal: We went back to Indiana University of PA for greek weekend to visit old friends, the next morning we went to breakfast. In the midst of our conversation, the same friends that were there when we first met entered the restaurant each holding a dozen of roses, white, red, pink and yellow. I began to ask his friends what was going on not realizing I was about to get asked the big question. Paul cut me off in the middle of my sentence and pulled out a box, got down on one knee and asked me if I would spend the rest of my life with him. Of course, I said yes. He placed the ring on my finger and we are engaged!! :-) Still can't believe it.
