How They Met: We met using a fantastic online dating site, www.okcupid.com. Bill saw my profile, emailed me, and we starting chatting. I could tell our interests would make us a great match- psychology degrees, spontaneous personalities, and a love for adventure. He planned our first date, and it was a dream come true- gourmet food, fun, and wine on Charles street in Boston. The next day he cooked me a five course gourmet meal with two of his close friends.

The Proposal: We were traveling in Paris, France, in August 2010. Bill planned a "special day" for me, where we had a night at the Hilton in Paris, I got a Swedish massage, and the hotel room was covered in beautiful flowers. We arrived at the Eiffel tower around 6 PM, and sat underneath it, near some fountains. When Bill got down on one knee, everyone nearby started watching, and then clapped and cheered for us when I said yes.
