Wedding Date: October 26, 2013 in Downingtown Country Club

How They Met: We met at Ryan's Pub in West Chester, PA. We both went to school at WCU and Ryan's was a favorite spot for both of us before we even met. I had just come from a Arena football game in Reading where danced/cheered for the team and Brendon was having some drinks with his brother and cousin. I walked in to the second floor bar and saw a few people dancing and thought, "Alright, those guys have some rhythm, this is going to be a good time!" I went up to the bar to get my friends and I some drinks and Brendon came over before I even had the chance to order. He asked to buy my drink and I said no because I didn't want him to have to pay for my friend's drinks also. So, even though I was trying to help him out, he was a tad bit offended. He got over it quickly, we ended up getting our dance on for a bit, then off I went like Cinderella in the night. I had given him my number and figured I would leave it at that. The coolest thing about the evening is that I found out several years later, the my girlfriend had taken a picture of us dancing. So, we have a picture from the first night we met!!

The Proposal: We went to NYC to meet up with some friends and family who were going to a concert. Bren asked me to go to Central Park, since we Hadn't gotten to go on our last trip to the city. We took a cab there, walked up one of the pathways, and ended up above the ice skating rink. It was already dark at the point, so it was a lovely view from up above. As we were walking my ultimate favorite Jason Mraz love song came on (I won't give up.) Bren pulled me off the pathway to get a better look at the rink and all the sudden my grandmother's old ring was in front of me. I turned to him shocked and confused and he said, "you see this ring, well you deserve something more unique and beautiful!" Then he went into his jacket pocket, pulled out The Box, got down on his knee and asked if I'd marry him!! I covered my mouth, cried in disbelief and he said "I'm not going to give it to you until you say Yes!" So.....I said "yes!" It was an unexpected and beautiful moment!
