How They Met: After countless dates and less than ideal set ups, Jason and Alexis' paths were magically aligned in Manhattan. They planned on meeting at the swanky "Wet Bar" of the St. Giles hotel on November 19th, 2010. The day of their date, Jason told Alexis that he would see her at 8pm at "Lex Bar". Although a bit confused by the change of name, Alexis assumed Jason creatively called the bar after her nickname, Lex, and was already smitten with his charm. Unbeknownst to Alexis, the bar had recently changed owners, re-establishing the name from "Wet Bar" to "Lex Bar" since it resides on Lexington Ave. As she approached the door and saw the new sign, she definitely had an 'ah hah' moment. After the two laughed about the mix-up, Jason knew Alexis would always give him a reason to smile, and Alexis discovered Jason was in fact charming.

The Proposal: January 12th 2013 marked a special event in both their lives. Jason had mentioned they were going to see a broadway show, but he had other plans that evening. "We're actually doing something a little different tonight" Jason said. As he got down on one knee to propose, he displayed the beautiful ring he had been waiting weeks to give her. Alexis was overwhelmed with happiness; this was a fairytale moment she had always dreamed of. A moment later, there was a knock on the door as both Alexis and Jasons immediate families were excitedly waiting to congratulate them. The couple, who lives in Manhattan, is planning a spring 2014 wedding.
