These grade-school sweethearts celebrated their I do’s with a rustic fall celebration at one of the area’s most historic sites.

The couple wanted a rustic, outdoor setting that could accommodate more than 300 people but was close enough to downtown to let their guests enjoy the city. Peter found Cliveden, site of the 1777 Battle of Germantown, online, and when they visited that winter, the colonial stone house, gravel trails, open meadow and carriage house—not to mention the easy commute downtown—were too perfect to pass up.
