After meeting in a bar in the spring of 2009, Emily Vick and George Agnew started a long-distrance relationship while he was in his hometown of Toronto, and she, grad school in NYC. For their Fall 2011 wedding, the couple honored George’s family’s heritage with a traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony at St. George Cathedral, followed by a reception a the new urban loft-style venue, Front + Palmer. It was a day spent celebrating family tradition, new and old.

For their ceremony, Emily and George wore stefana, Orthodox wedding crowns. Emily wore her mother’s wedding dress from 1977, which fit Emily perfectly.
