We had lunch today at the Waterworks with some dear friends. I started off with a chicken and corn chowder then had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich with watermalon mojito slaw. So creative and simply delicious. Just outstanding! The last time I was at the Water Works was when it was the Aquarium. I had my 10th birthday party there. It's wonderful to see it come back in such a glorious and beautiful manner. We will return again and again.

I dined at Water Works for the first time last night and had a phenomenal experience. I started with the "Oysters Three Ways," which were delicious — especially the fried oyster atop spinach and a delectable cheese. For my entree, I had the boursin stuffed chicken with lobster and asparagus risotto. It was outstanding! I don't think I've EVER had better chicken or risotto. For dessert, I had a three gelato/sorbet sampler with Dulce de Leche and Vanilla gelato and White Peach sorbet — each of which was amazing. My fellow diners were equally delighted with their meals. Furthermore, they adored their wine and after-dinner drinks. We were all tremendously impressed with the service. Our waiter was remarkably pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful, and we loved that our car, which we valeted when we arrived, was waiting for us when we finished our meal. Lastly, you just can't beat the location! It's absolutely perfect.

My husband surprised me for my birthday with the most romantic evening. We started the night off sipping champagne outside looking at the river and the boathouses. We enjoyed an unbelievable meal. I tried octopus for the first time and it was amazing! My husband said it was the best lamb he has ever had. My duck was mouthwatering. Our chocolate dessert was a rich mousse bursting with flavor. Our server was polite and attentive. The manager even came over and wished me a happy birthday. A perfect evening from beginning to end. I look forward to going back soon. I really want to try lunch, menu looked great.

I too was disappointed in my service and the management attitude toward my preplanned requests during my small intimate wedding. Although the food was nicely prepared and very good at that, the person who was managing my affair(one of the owners) was rude, insensitive, and uncaring in regard to the details of my event and the requests of my guests. Not only would I not recommend this restaurant for events, I am loathe to visit again due to the bad taste in my mouth and the sickening feeling in my stomach created by my experience with this callous management.

We were very disappointed in the service and value received for the cost of an intimate wedding on 8/24. The chef and pastry chef both did an excellent job preparing the food and desserts. However, one important detail was overlooked; we did not rece
