Recently I had a frightening experience with my hair at a salon in old city and I can't live with it not 1 more day. Long story short , I read about Laurentius Salon in your web and called. I spoke to Erica who is probably the nicest and most helpful receptionist I ever encountered in any hair salon. She recommend me to go to Kim who is a very soft spoken gentle person with a rocking talent. She help me fix my horrible color and also help my fried hair to a better condition. Laurentius give me a great haircut. Thank you All..and compliment to Laurentius himself..you have the best employees, they all make me feel very welcomed. Melissa,

I had recently moved from NYC and was having a hard time finding a new salon.. My firend recommended this salon and I read their article from this magazine "Best of Philly". This is the coolest modern place with the nicest and most talented crew. I saw their web and was worried and intimidated with all the accomplishment Laurentius had received, but the minute I arrived I was greeted by the nicest gentlement (Joe, manager) with warm and welcome. Laurentius was very funny and sweet. Loooovvvveeee my haircut!!!!!!!! Kim gave me wonderful colour, gorgeous golden caramel for my summer look..looovvvveee them. I'm so glad to find these people. Parking is also provided..its so chic of them!!! They deserve the Best of Philly award.

I have known Laurent for a very long time and have been a client of his from the beginning. To see him grow and progress through the years to where he is today is something to be admired. Even though he has had the opportunity to work with celeberties etc. he has never changed. He treats ALL of his clients the same. Laurent is still a great guy and has worked hard to be where he is today. He is truly an artist and when you walk out of his salon you feel like a new person. I can't begin to tell you how many friend, family and acquiantances I have sent to Laurent over the years and every one of them have been more than pleased with his work. He keeps himself surrounded with an excellent staff in Robin, Joe, Sherry, Kim, Ed and Nicky. I remember when Kim was his assistant and look how far she has come today especially as a colorist. It is no wonder that the Laurentius Salon has been ranked as a the top salon in the Philadelphia area. Way to go Laurent, you're the best!

I'm so glad to found this salon in Philadelphia ..we need a fashionable place like this in Philly. I've been going to NY (Oscar Blandi) for my colour & cut because I tried all the high end salons here but they are so old fashion. I'm so happy to found Laurentius Salon. On top of that oK got the best colour and cut I ever have. His Haircut is $150 (save me from spending $350 at my previous place, my husband is happy) and my highlight was so beautiful. The staff is very friendly and professional. Thank you for opening such a fashion forward Salon in Philadelphia Laurentius. You have a great vision!!!

Laurentius Salon is the best place to relax and let them make you look and feel like a million dollars. While Kim's color technique is outstanding, Laurentius is an absolute magnificent stylist. Trust me I have very long hair and lots of it, and he is the only one that can make it look modern, healthy and fabulous. Also, the Salon and all its staff are very friendly and helpful, you feel like at home!!!

Laurentius Salon is an oasis in the city and my life. I like to hang out there, even when I'm not getting services. EVERYONE there is so awesome – it as comfortable as being home only it's 10x better – because it's much more festive. There is no one more talented at hair anywhere on the planet. Really not anywhere. It may sound like so many superlatives – but if any other famous stylist in the world offered to do my hair (free) – I'd say no thanks and stick with Laurentius – he's the best (he's also great with make-up, style, photography and business). Everyone there is super talented. Laurentius sets a standard and hires and cultivates excellence. The vibe is welcoming and hip. I NEVER have to wait. But it's such a fun place, I wouldn't care one bit if I did. How odd is that? I can't say enough good things. Robin, Sherry, Kim, Joe, Ed, Nicky...they treat me and my daughter like family. I send everyone I know there... I go with them when they go... and I look forward to going every time I can!

My hair has never looked so good since Laurentius has cut it. He flattered my face and knows what will look good on me. I hardly have to blow dry it since the cut is perfect. Kim Tran does the absolute best color on my hair. The blonde is perfectly suited to my skin tone and is very shinny and healthy looking.

I love everything about Laurentius Salon, the fabulous decor, the warm hospitality, the gracious staff but most of all the way my hair always looks even on a bad day. I get so many compliments about my color, cut and the healthy overall look of my hair. Laurent not only colors and cuts my hair but he maintains my hair. While I'm there I can't resist to visit with Robin to get a manicure and on occasion a peticure.

I have been getting my hair cut and colored at the Laurentius Salon since they opened. My hair looks great-according to my husband and many others. The vibe is welcoming and fun; the staff is charming and experienced. Robin's manicures are a treat.

After being platinum blonde for several years, It's time for a change. I decided to go more warm-honey-sunny blonde. Few of my friends has went to see Kim for years (recently moved to Laurentius Salon) and rave about her. So I thought she would be perfect to makeunder my hair color..Since my make-under I met someone very special. THANK YOU KIM!!!!!!!!! plus they serve great wine while you are getting color or while having mani-pedi.

We moved to Phildadelphia about a year ago, my wife was still going back to Orlo in New York for her color and cut. I saw your Best of Philly article about this salon and decided to buy her a gift certificate so she doesnt have to go to New york for her hair. She was extremely happy, she even said its the best blonde color she ever had. Laurentius gave her a great cut and Kim does her color. They are the Best in Philly..and a very beautiful salon.

I recently try Kim Tran @ Laurentius Salon. I was 1st intimidated by their glossy reputation and celeb list, but this is a "FIRST CLASS" salon with real class, no pretentiousness, very lovely warm staffs and talented staffs. Kim gave my fabulous blonde back, edgy kool modern cut and what a pleasure to be in her hands. It cost half of what I usually spent at my NYC salon and I got the best color EVER!!! Bravoo!!!!!!!
