Okay, so you’re not having the Athens beach wedding you’ve dreamed about, but that doesn’t mean you can’t channel Greek ambience for your rehearsal dinner. Guests can nosh on authentic dishes like spanakopita, souvlaki and baklava, and sip libations from around the globe. Plan your rehearsal-celebrating for a Friday or Saturday night when Estia features live Greek music. Private rooms host groups from 10-200; prices start at $45 per person.Featured In

My wife and I (fiance at the time) loved this place so much, that we had our wedding here...the food, service, decor, everything is just perfect. Plus, it is one of Philly's longest standing restaurants. It's seems that once we find one good restaurant in Philly, its either under new management a few months later, closed or a completely different restaurant. Estia is a great place to host a group event, go for a couple of drinks after work, lunch, dinner or for any occasion. We love this place. It is definitely within our top 2 favorite restaurants. Also, we know good food and can pretty much dissect a plate and tell you what ingredients are in it...so, we not exactly the easiest people to please when it comes to food. Oh, and the complimentary hors d'oeuvres are wonderful at happy hour. Haven't been in a little while, so I'm unsure if they still serve it...for free at least Posted by Jose: Apr. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very inviting! It has a very warm & cozy feeling as you walk thru mediterranean stone walls. The size of this restaurant will amaze you. Don't let the main dining room fool you. This place is BIG! They have several private rooms for parties and/or functions and the all decor is rustic but remains very classy. (be sure to check out the basement bar) The food was very flavorful and delicious. I would highly recommend the grilled octopus to start along with a bottle of chilled white wine. If you like fish, this is your place. Estia has many different fishes to choose from Don't forget about the traditional greek dishes such as the moussaka (beef casserole) and the spanakopita. Be sure you save enough room for the dessert. The honey drenched Baklava is sure to crave any sweet tooth desire. Our server, was great and very educated on the dishes they serve. I would definitely go back. Posted by Carlo: Oct. October 23rd, 2009 at 3:51 PM |
