When you hire Darcy Law, you get both an exquisite designer and a confidante, as she works intimately with you to craft an exclusive gown. Each bride gets a one-on-one experience, from a preliminary coffee date to discuss ideas and budget, to a measuring session with illustrations and fabric swatches to peruse, to an average of three muslin fittings before the final pattern is cut. The whole process takes a minimum of six months for a bridal gown; Law will hand you the gown two weeks before your I Dos and, if you like, even show up the morning of your wedding to help get you dressed. Prices start at $2,500 (including consultation, fit sessions, veil and personal monogramming); handbags, wraps, shrugs and jackets are sold separately, starting from $100.
