I had a wonderful trip to Country Way Bridal. My Mother, Mother in law, and 2 sisters in laws loved the place. I am a huge Jim Heljm fan so went during a trunk show and there was a great selection dresses. Both the owner and sales associate were super sweet and very helpful. I am sorry to hear about the Brides with the bad experiences but my experience at Country Way was really perfect. I totally recommend them. Posted by Melissa: Sep. September 16th, 2011 at 1:49 PM

If you want your wedding gown to hang off of you....then have the salesperson tell you it fits fine....have a horrible experience...then shop here! Because that is what you get! Wish I would have read the true review...the ones that give one star and wish you could give zero stars! Posted by Lyn: Mar. March 4th, 2011 at 10:39 PM

***AT YOUR OWN RISK***
This review is for the Country Way Haddonfield, NJ location. We ordered our dresses here after our friend and bride selected the dresses. The dresses were listed at a slightly cheaper rate than at other nearby stores but let me tell you that the nightmare that ensued after ordering these dresses was not worth the savings! We were promised the dresses six weeks before the wedding so that we would have plenty of time to get the alterations. So six weeks before the wedding we called to make apts. Yvonne and company avoided our phone calls and would not call us back when we left messages. Four weeks before the wedding we went into the shop to ask where the dresses were. Yvonne first pretended she didnt know us then she started talking to us like we were five year old children that had just over stepped the boundary. I had to ask her to stop wagging her finger in our faces and to talk to us like adults. You think a store owner that didnt have the dresses in when promised might be slightly apologetic but it was the opposite. I felt like I was in an insane asylum because here we are spending tons of money in her store (there were 8 of us) and she is acting like we were in the wrong. The bride was nearly in tears and she said she refused to apologize and said that the dresses were in the mail on their way. She refused to discount any of the dresses or provide any alterations a discounted rate or ship them for freeeven though we would only have 2 wks before the wedding and we all lived outside the area. Then the best part comes when the bride calls Yvonne on Tuesday to get the tracking number so that she could track the package and know exactly when to get the dresses were coming in. Yvonne would not provide the tracking number and said she decided to give us all a full refund and will not do business with us i.e. NO dresses and 3 weeks left. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Anyway we contacted Jim Helm, the designer of the dresses, and they said that they were waiting for a payment from Country Way to release the dresses. They said the dresses were ready for quite some time but that they were no longer releasing dresses to Country Way without advance payment as their credit had been frozen. We feel that Yvonne totally mismanaged the situation, took advantage of us, tried to blame us for her mistakes and problematic credit, and in the end screwed us over. Please shop here at your own risk. We should have looked at reviews before we came. There are tons of negative reviews about this place on the internet. BUYER BE WARE! Posted by Megan: Jun. My mom and I went Country Way for a Jim Hjelm Trunk Show. It was exciting and I tried on many dresses. I was pleased to find out that if we purchashed the gown that week-end I got 20% off. That couldn't have workrd out better because the gown I wanted was over my budget.
Yvonne ( the owner) worked with me to break up the deposit in two payments two weeks apart. Yvonne was very helpful from the very begining. I am getting mmaried next week and I have to say Country Way has been very easy to work with. Not one snag everything was smooth and peaceful. The seamstress was great. Im not a high matinence bride. Im pretty easy but I have to say it was a pleasure to deal with this store, each time I went.
While I know they have some negative review,s but so does every bridal store. Its a touchy time and I know there are so many details in all weddings. I say don't believe everything you read there's two sides to every story and Im sure some brides can be hard to work with.
Country Way did a great job on my wedding dress and veil. I highly recommend them! Posted by selena: May. May 24th, 2010 at 10:44 AM

My first impression of Country Way WOW. First they had the prettiest dresses. The buyer is great. Second they had so many BM's dresses to choose from. Third, They were very nice and not stuffy at all. Everything did not go smooth, but they remained sweet sincere and not rude in the least bit. When my dress came in it was a little on the tight side, but the seamstress who is excellent took it out for me. My BMs dresses came in a month before the wedding, but that was because we ordered late. I was floored to read the negative reviews because EVERY single employee and owner was nothing short of EXCELLENT. Must be alot of Bridezilla's out there. I actually feel kind of sorry for the employee's to have to put up with some of the nasty women who come in there. Posted by brenda: May. May 23rd, 2010 at 7:10 PM
