It's been a pleasure to work with Claudia. From the day I met her during our trial I could tell that she is a very warm woman that is passionate about her work. I loved my hair and makeup on my trial and I loved how she made me look and feel on my wedding day. She carefully listened to all my needs. During the planning process, she was always quick to respond. She made my entire bridal party feel fabulous. I recommend Claudia 100%. I can't wait to work with her again!

I joined this site just to prevent other brides from having a similar bad experience. I was unhappy with her work and she was rude. I made a wedding trial appointment with Claudia at her studio in Philly. As I was parking my car, she called and said she would be late. She gave me a time to meet her, so I left my car to be at the door. She ended up being over an hour later than that. I was actually waiting in the rain for her to open the door. She didn't even show up at the time she said she would. An assistant (very nice) showed up and unlocked the door to let me out of the rain. I was VERY unhappy with the hair and makeup Claudia did. The make up was caked on and not what I asked for and the hair was not what I wanted either. I had pictures, but she did what she wanted instead. Claudia rushed since she was late and didn't even make any changes like I asked. She had me pay for the full trial, but I didn't have the full time and was not happy and felt very uncomfortable. I went with someone else. It was not worth the stress.

Claudia did my hair and makeup (along with a few other friends) for my wedding reception on April 30, 2011. She is PHENOMENAL. I have never felt more beautiful and my hair (which is very difficult) looked beyond gorgeous - but most importantly, it stayed that way all night long! Also, here makeup skills are beyond talented. I am hoping to catch up with her and book an appt just to have her teach me what makeup suits me best and best ways to apply it. I can't say enough great things about her - she was fun, awesome, and beyond my wildest expectations in terms of talent. Everyone looked wonderful!

Claudia showed up on our wedding day 30 minutes late, without any apologies. It was made very clear what time we needed her there by, and it set back our entire day, and pictures before the ceremony had to be rushed because of it. As the bride, I tried not to worry about this and to remain calm, but it really was unfortunate that she could be so selfish on our wedding day. While doing my hair, and my bridesmaids' hair, Claudia also stopped to answer her phone and to check and respond to emails/messages multiple times. All of my bridesmaids noticed Claudia's poor behavior, and commented on it to me later. Claudia acted as though she thought she was a big shot, and had a lot of important things to attend to, but when you are a paid vendor (unless it is an emergency; which it was not), that type of behavior is incredibly rude. In addition to her behavior/rudeness, her work was just okay. Claudia did not even have eyelash curlers with her, which I found shocking. I'm sure you can find someone better-- do some more research!

Claudia doesn't even know that I was so disappointed with everything...because look, it's my wedding day and we were super late. We've been profiled in Philly Mag and several other publications where Claudia has gotten credit for Hair and Makeup. But I have to write our feelings. We LOVED most of our vendors, but Claudia was one of 2 vendors that I have to say that I wouldn't recommend again. I'm not a complainer or hard to please bride. My perspective is, if you can't change it, then don't stress about it and enjoy your day. :) 1.) She was over an hour late (which on your wedding day, you don't realize and people try not to stress you out about). We wound up missing cocktail hour and were an hour late for our Church. Our reception was cut by an hour - since everything was an hour late that day. So in hindsight, we should've skipped hair and makeup. 2.) My hair and makeup looked nothing like my trial. (We also drove almost 2 hours to get to her hair salon for the trial, so it was kind of disappointing that it wound up not mattering.) 3.) My hair fell out on my way back down the aisle, before the reception. My cousin (a hair stylist) tried to salvage it, but it couldn't stay up without starting over. 4.) She did a great job on my dark-haired bridesmaids makeup (or her daughter/assistant did...I forget). I'm blond & blue-eyed and have to say that if I had it to do over again, I would just do my own makeup. So my overall review is: Claudia is incredibly incredibly nice. Very sweet. Her pricing is higher than the onsite average hair and makeup person. I feel badly having to write this review, but I do feel like I need to be honest, especially after she's gotten credit in several places for having done our hair and makeup. But I can't in all fairness recommend her work to other brides.

Claudia did a fantastic job on not only my hair and make-up on my wedding day but also the hair of my bridesmaids and my mother. She worked with my to set a reasonable budget and did a through trial run before my big day. She was a calming presence on the day of me wedding. I would highly recommend her to any of my friends.

Claudia Seyler is one of the most talented people I know. Whenever I need my hair or makeup done for an event or a photo shoot with the press I call on her. She always makes me look amazing and understands what I want to look like for each event! She is patient and knows her craft. I constantly recommend her! My cousin, all of her bridesmaids and my aunt just recently had Claudia do their hair and make up. Just amazing!!!

I could have done better myself! Wrong foundation used, my face looked like it belonged to another body and my hair was a wreck! I had to dash off to another salon to get everything fixed before my son's wedding!
