Rittenhouse’s recently opened Brown Betty Petite offers cupcake tiers, in lieu of a cake, and cupcake favors. See their online gallery, or schedule a tasting to talk batters (like the famous pineapple pound), fillings (everything from lemon curd to ganache), frostings (buttercream? fondant?), colors (most icings can be colored to match anything) and design. Per-person prices start at $3 for cupcakes, $5 for buttercream-covered cakes and $6 for fondant-covered cakes.
