Instead of wearing store-bought jewelry for your wedding, you and your
bridesmaids can have a hand in creating it with the help of the staff at
South Philly’s Beadworks. They’ll set aside time for you to come in with
pictures, ideas and inspiration and design your jewelry — then they’ve got
everything you need for you and your bridesmaids to actually come in and
make your gems. They offer everything from the more traditional Swarovski crystals and pearls to colorful precious and semi-precious stones. And, if you want to design your jewelry but don’t have time to come in and create it yourself, the store’s in-house designers will do it for you. Jewelry-making parties can hold eight to 10 guests, and pricing depends on the type of materials you choose.
