This fabulously authentic French sweet shop offers très délicieux treats in the form of artfully handmade chocolates (perfect for favors) and wedding cakes ranging from light-as-air vanilla sponge cake filled with lemon mousseline and layers of almond and hazelnut meringue to the classically French croquembouche, a grand tower of caramelized cream puffs. (Oh, and the French influence is completely genuine: Owner Patrick Gauthron, a premier pastry chef and chocolatier, hails from France and trained under Georges Perrier at Le Bec-Fin.)
