This 1920s Art Deco venue just off of the Avenue of the Arts features a lavish grand hall for up to 250 seated guests, and is outfitted with mahogany floors, crystal chandeliers, and large windows that allow natural light to pour in. (You can even have a little Juliet moment by peeking over the mezzanine balcony overlooking the ballroom before you descend the granite staircase to your party.) Stephen STARR Events is the exclusive caterer, and they'll work with you to devise a menu with hors d'oeuvres, stations and a sit-down dinner with plated entrées. In honor of the venue's history (it was the Hotel Sylvania back in the '20s), STARR offers the option to recreate the 1923 grand opening menu of the original hotel's restaurant, featuring items like filet au poivre with potatoes lorraine and the elderflower-and-strawberry bombe. Catering prices start at $125 per person.
