Tunji Ige x Michael Christmas @ Foundry at the Fillmore | Wednesday, June 22
Rappers Tunji Ige and Michael Christmas team up for the Bring Yo Friends summer tour. The young Ige came onto the scene in late 2014 with his self-produced mixtape, The Love Project, recorded in the basement of his dorm at West Chester University. Christmas, who has more of a mellow head-bopping sound, is from Boston.

Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone with the Philadelphia Orchestra @ The Mann | Thursday, June 23
The Philadelphia Orchestra embraces pop culture: Watch the first Harry Potter movie on the big screen while the orchestra provides a live score, playing every note John Williams composed for the hit film.

Dave Matthews Band @ BB&T Pavilion | June 24 and 25
Relive your college days at a Dave Matthews show, in the cheap seats — only the lawn is left. The band doesn’t have new music out, so there’s nothing to disturb the nostalgia, but they are releasing 1996’s Crash on vinyl for the first time next month.

Sense Field @ TLA | Saturday, June 25
Sense Field was big in the emo scene in the ’90s. The band broke up in 2004 and went on to other things; this is a memorial show for singer Jon Bunch, who died earlier this year at 45. Further Seems Forever, the band Bunch joined after Sense Field, will also play, along with a few others.

Deerhoof @ Union Transfer | Saturday, June 25
Pitchfork called Deerhoof “the best band in the world,” and while that seems like a stretch, the experimental group is at least always interesting and fresh. What started out as a noise act has evolved into something easier to listen to, but still experimental (and loud). They’re touring for a new album, The Magic. Kill Alters opens.

Paul Simon @ The Mann | Saturday, June 25
The much-honored musician is touring in support of his just-released 13th solo studio album, Stranger to Stranger, which debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 3 — his highest ranking since Graceland almost 30 years ago.

The Low Anthem @ Underground Arts | Sunday, June 26
Indie-folk band The Low Anthem has a soothing sound that occasionally veers into country. They released a new album, Eyeland, last week.
