New Music Video: Square Peg Round Hole at Ringing Rocks

The Philly band's latest involves hitting boulders with hammers.

Visitors to Ringing Rocks Park in Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania, have long considered the musical possibilities of the place. After all the whole point of the place is to hammer on the boulders in its eight-acre debris field and see what kinds of sounds will result. Most of them produce a ringing or clanging sound when struck. Philly instrumental percussion band Square Peg Round Hole took that idea and ran with it in their new song and video. It’s all mics, hammers and mother nature. The band’s second record, Juniper, drops March 25.
