WATCH: Video Captures Philly’s Near-Perfect Fall Season

The latest from Cory J. Popp highlights the parts of the city that radiate that fall feeling the most.

It may be hard to believe — especially with the glimpses of warm weather here and there — but autumn is approaching its final few weeks. In Philly, fall is a clear sign of change in the air, but in videographer Cory J. Popp’s newest video, the season takes on a kind of citywide peace, as well. Popp takes his camera through the streets of Philly to explore this near-perfect autumn season and the city in action for a second time.

For this video, Popp says he focuses on “the parts of the city that radiate that fall feeling the most — Pine Street, the Schyulkill River Boardwalk, University of Pennsylvania’s campus, City Hall, and parts of Broad Street.”

From the shots of red and golden leaves that blend beautifully with the brick-faced architecture to students enjoying the colorful College Green at UPenn, we might do well to appreciate this happy weather medium before it’s gone. Check out the footage above and his past seasonal coverage on his website.
