Vincent Margera — better known as Don Vito on the MTV shows Jackass and Viva La Bam — died this morning, TMZ reports.

Don Vito, the uncle of West Chester’s Bam Margera, first came to prominence in the CKY video series in the early 2000s. He later appeared on the Jackass TV show, then was featured prominently in the spinoff Viva La Bam. By the second episode of that show, he was winning bets by drinking a whole bottle of hot sauce. Bam gave him the “Don Vito” nickname, saying his near-unintelligible speech sounded like Don Vito Corleone from The Godfather.

Vincent Margera’s career was essentially ended when he was convicted of two felony counts of sexual assault on a child. He was later sentenced to 10 years of “serious probation” and was a registered sex offender in Colorado in Pennsylvania. Per a registry, he was most recently living in West Chester.

Recently on the Preston & Steve show on WMMR, Bam Margera said that Vincent was seriously ill. Per TMZ, he died of kidney and liver failure.
