Three Curtis Grads Sign Record Deals With Warner Classics

The Curtis Institute is adding to its roster of artists who have made it big: Three twentysomething graduates from the prestigious school signed deals to record albums with Warner Classics late last month. The label is a division of Warner Bros. Records dedicated to recording and promoting classical artists across the globe.
Violinist Benjamin Beilman, 26, is an American musician who notably took the People’s Choice Award at the International Music Competition of Montreal when he was only 20. His Warner album, titled Spectrum, will tackle the works of Schubert, Stravinksy, and more. He’ll be joined by fellow Curtis graduate Yekwon Sunwoo on the piano, according to Amati Magazine.
We had the pleasure of interviewing the Naughton Sisters, Christina and Michelle, back in September before they returned to Curtis for a homecoming concert (which was absolutely phenomenal). The identical twins, 27 years, have also been signed to Warner Classics: They’ll be releasing an album titled Visions in February 2016.
