Hanson, Fetty Wap to Play Free Forbes Under 30 Music Festival at Penn’s Landing

UPDATE [9/30/2015, 2:47 pm]: The link for folks to register for the free Forbes Under 30 concert is now live and can be found here. As we mentioned in our fall concert guide, Avicii backed out of this commitment, and Fetty Wap and Shawn Mendes were added to the bill. This concert is free to 4,000 fans who register for tickets on Global Poverty Project’s Global Citizen website and stay active on it. Again, register here.

ORIGINAL: This year’s Forbes Under 30 Summit, the annual, three-day gathering of young entrepreneurs, will be capped off with a free music festival. Headliners announced today include Hanson (all grown up!), Avicii and electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling. The show takes place on October 6th from 7 to 11 pm at Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing.

All headliners will speak during the festival, with additional remarks from musician Sara Bareilles and the co-founders of Genius.com, Tom Lehman and Ilan Zechory.

Here’s how to get tickets: After Labor Day, organizers will give out 4,000 free tickets to folks who register with poverty-fighting organization Global Citizen. (More info on how that works later.) If you want VIP treatment, you’ll have to pay. A limited number of those tickets will go on sale here starting Friday, August 28th.

The second annual Forbes Under 30 Summit takes place in Philadelphia from October 4-7. More information can be found here.
