REPORT: Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith Divorce Rumors

UPDATE [8/3/2015, 9:42 pm]: Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith take to their social media pages to say they are not getting a divorce. Read their responses here.

UPDATE [8/3/2015, 1:53 pm]: Don’t pull out your Kleenex just yet. GossipCop.com has a conflicting report, saying the superstar couple are not heading to divorce court. The site claims to have “checked in with an impeccable Smith family source, who tells us [Radar] is once again off-base and that talk of an end-of-the-summer divorce announcement is 100 percent ‘not true.’”

ORIGINAL: After 17 years of what seemed like blissful, great-sex-filled marriage, Philly’s Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith are reportedly calling it quits.

According to Radar, who broke the news, the couple have been working carefully on “a confidential settlement to protect their $240 million fortune, and prepare their kids for the fallout.”

“For Will and Jada, holding it together these past few years has been tough because their marriage has been on life support for a long time,” an insider told Radar.

“They’re exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union,” the source continued. “They’ve decided to pull the plug in a carefully choreographed manner, [and] agree announcing their split at the end of the summer is the right move.”

Hinting at their split earlier this year, the BadBoys stud, 46, admitted that their marriage had “died” during an interview. Meanwhile, Pinkett Smith, 43, seemed to acknowledge Will’s notorious wandering eye, telling Howard Stern: “I’m not his watcher. He’s a grown man.”

She later added that she’s fine with Will’s ways, “as long as Will can look himself in the mirror and be okay.”

As one of my coworkers put it, if they can’t make it work, who can?!
