This summer, the opulent Glen Foerd Mansion will come alive with a Roaring Twenties lawn party complete with jazz, Prohibition-era cocktails and more. Jazz Age on the Delaware kicks off on August 1st at the historic home, which claims to be the last Gilded Age mansion on the Delaware River.

The day’s activities will center around a picnic on the grounds of the mansion, with jazz performances and 20s-inspired activities taking place throughout the day. There will be performances by Philly and New York bands, like The Gin Canaries and Drew Nugent & The Midnight Society (video below), and a pie-baking contest.

On the food and drink front, organizers are asking guests to bring picnics or grab some bites onsite from Jamie Hollander Gourmet Foods and Catering. You can also order a pre-made picnic that’ll come with options like lobster rolls, a Southern friend chicken sandwich and more. Art in the Age and Hendrick’s gin will take care of the libations.

If you think this sounds a little like Diner en Blanc, you’re not too far off base. The afternoon is being organized by a team led by Natanya DiBona, one of the co-hosts of the annual, super-chic white dinner affair. With that in mind, all guests are encouraged to come dressed in 20s-inspired garb to keep the theme flowing. So start hitting up your favorite vintage store for all your Mary Crawley- and Lord Grantham-like threads.

Tickets are $45 for the afternoon, which includes all the activities and tours of the Mansion. If you get your tickets today, June 19th, you can snag an early-bird deal, which is $7 off the ticket price. Do your purchasing and get more information here. Proceeds will help preserve the Glen Foerd Mansion.
