Here’s Where in Philly You Can See The Sound of Music on the Big Screen


How do you solve a problem like Maria? Go watch her with a bag of popcorn and a huge soda, that’s how.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic movie The Sound of Music, Turner Classic Movies is presenting the film in cinemas nationwide on the big screen, and there are several Philly-area theaters that will be taking part in the celebration. The screening of the film is strictly limited to two dates, Sunday, April 19 and Wednesday, April 22, at 2 and 7 pm on each day. In addition to everyone’s favorite musical, extra anniversary footage and features will be included.
