Last week, a campaign called #SelmaForStudents offered thousands of tickets for young people in Philadelphia to see Selma, the Ava DuVernay-helmed film that chronicles Martin Luther King Jr.’s efforts to organize a march from Selma to Montgomery in order to secure civil rights for African Americans. The project was such a success that the City of Philadelphia—with the help of corporate and individual sponsors—has come up with additional funding to provide 3,000 more tickets for students this weekend.

“I am pleased that there was such a great response to the program ‘Selma for Students’ because it demonstrates that young people are interested in learning about our history,” Mayor Nutter said in a press release. “Nationally, more than 300,000 young people have seen the film through ‘Selma for Students.’ With these added tickets more young Philadelphians will be able to see Selma and gain a valuable understanding of a critical turning point in our nation’s history.”

So here’s the deal: While supplies last, middle and high school students can present their current student ID or report card at the box office of a participating theater to snag the deal. Those theaters include AMC Franklin Mills, Cinemark University, Regal Grant Plaza, Regal Main Street and Regal Riverview Plaza.

Ready, set, #SelmaForStudents
