Here’s What the Shepard Fairey Mural in Fishtown Looks Like Today

Artist Shepard Fairey has begun working on his new mural that’s going up this week on a building at 1228 Frankford Avenue in Fishtown.

The mural, called Lotus Diamond and done in conjunction with Mural Arts, is scheduled to be done by this Friday, August 8th. Here, we’re keeping track of the progress till then:

UPDATE [8/7/2014, 9:34 a.m.]: Mural Arts and Shepard Fairey Instagrammed the following two pics at the end of day two of the Fishtown project. The mural looks gorgeous. According to Fairey, it should be finished today, Thursday, August 7th.
