Heads Up: Academy of Natural Sciences Hosting Free Admission Day

Just a heads up for you early planners: The Academy of Natural Sciences will be hosting a free day on June 30th as part of its “Go 4th and Learn” series, and the Wawa Welcome America! festival.

Besides having the chance to explore the museum’s regular exhibits (dinosaur bones!), guests can take part in a handful of family-friendly one-off activities planned throughout the day. For instance, Mayor Michael Nutter will stop by the Academy’s library at 10 a.m. to read a story; there will be a dairy and cow-milking exhibit hosted by Wawa; and there will be arts and crafts stations set up so kids can just go wild making things.

The day kicks off at 10 a.m. on June 30th, and runs through 4:30 p.m. that afternoon. For more information on the day’s itinerary, go here.
